She's an acclaimed interior decorator whose work has been featured in shelter magazines such as House Beautiful, Southern Accents, House & Garden, Harper's Bazaar and Metropolitan Home, but Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles contributing editor and back-page columnist Marcia Sherrill is also the South's only member of the prestigious Council of Fashion Designers of America.

Her handbag designs have been profiled in leading women's magazines including Elle, W and Town & Country. Sherrill recently opened her own design and antique shop, Satterfield & Sherrill, in Birmingham's posh Mountain Brook Village. She is also the co-author of the lauded work Portraits of Hope: 52 Stories of Breast Cancer Survival and Stylemakers: Inside Fashion.
