A Night of Design

The 2009 Decorators’ Show House & Gardens, located at the new St. Regis Atlanta Hotel & Residences and Diamond-sponsored by Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, was a huge success raising philanthropic funds for the Atlanta Symphony Associates. Featuring designs by 27 of the city’s best designers and spanning three luxury units in three distinctive versions of Atlanta style—contemporary, traditional and transitional—the showcase offered something for every taste. And AH&L‘s exclusive tour, held April 23, granted a private look at the spaces for some of Atlanta’s most prized guests and design luminaries. Afterward, everyone gathered at Buckhead’s Artefacto showroom to commemorate AH&L’s 2009 10 under 40 honorees, Jody Fausett, Joe Remling, Dan Maas, Mark Williams, Jiha Moon, Bulent Baydar, Jonathan Lacrosse, Heidi Pierce, Marie-Laure Coste Dujols and Thibaut Devillard, who are making names for themselves as the talented 10 to watch in local design. Both events converged as one fabulous fête that drew nearly 500 guests throughout the evening, who nibbled hors d’oeuvres from A Legendary Event and sipped our signature cocktail, a white cosmopolitan made with Swan’s Neck vodka. Adding even more excitement to the occasion, the Artefacto Style House, situated on the showroom’s second floor, dazzled guests who surveyed the 12 spaces created by Atlanta’s leading designers using Artefacto furnishings and accessories.
