Atlanta Style Now, 2010
This winter, we took an already amazing home–a gorgeous William T. Baker-designed estate on tony West Wesley Road in Buckhead–enlisted the help of 23 of Atlanta’s top designers, and turned it into the most stylish living space ever: Christmas House. Along with a guest house, media room and wine cellar, our show house had 11 bathrooms and an artists’ atelier. World-class art and amazing furniture filled the spaces–all of which, sadly, had to be returned after the house closed But not before we threw parties raised money for charity (the Alliance Children’s Theatre), hosted book signings and a lecture series, and showed it off to more than 6,000 visitors.
