April 1-11 Hagedorn Foundation Gallery’s Out of Fashion runs through April 11. Showcasing the works of backstage photographer Landon Nordeman, the exhibit gives a behind-the-scenes look at life on the fashion circuit. Capturing more than 100 shows during fall 2014 fashion weeks, his colorful images document the chaos surrounding the catwalks in Milan, Paris and New York. April 1-12 Join the Atlanta Botanical Garden for its last weeks of Orchid Daze: Pop!, a colorful botanical showcase inspired by Pop artists Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol and Keith Haring. Held inside the Fuqua Orchid Center, the largest orchid center in the United States, the exhibition will showcase thousands of unique blooms, orchid markets and orchid care clinics.atlantabg.org

April 1-18 Kate Javens’ solo exhibit, The Animals I Sleep With, comes to a close at Marcia Wood Gallery’s Midtown location this month. Javens captures the essence of renowned and avant-garde historical figures through poignant oil paintings of animals. All month The High Museum of Art presents Wifredo Lam: Imagining New Worlds, on view through May 24. Showcasing more than 40 paintings and a selection of prints and drawings by Cuban-born Surrealist Wifredo Lam, the exhibit explores his masterworks with private and public collections from across the globe, presented together for the first time. high.org

All month The Atlanta Symphony Associates 2015 Decorators’ Show House & Gardens tickets are available all month at advanced ticket locations. In its 45thyear, the ASA Decorators’ Showhouse & Gardens is an Atlanta springtime favorite. This year’s house—Chateau Soleil—is a French-style estate designed by architect William T. Baker. April 5 The Ritz-Carlton Buckhead hosts Easter Brunch at The Café. Guests are invited to join the luxury hotel for Easter egg hunts (every hour on the hour), an exotic petting zoo, a magician and visits from the Easter bunny. Brunch will include enhanced selections including caviar, 25 varieties of cheese, hand-rolled sushi, an espresso station and concoctions by The Ritz-Carlton’s pastry chef, Dallas Marsteller. April 10 The Atlanta Dogwood Festival is back for its 79th year at Piedmont Park. Featuring more than 260 fine artists, live music, a 5K run, food events, a disc dog competition and more, the annual three-day event is packed with activities for everyone. April 11 Celebrate the start of spring with the Festival on Ponce, an arts and crafts festival set in historic Olmsted Linear Park, designed by renowned landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted. April 13 Chef Matthew Basford of Canoe offers guests a sneak peek of his menu for the James Beard Foundation Dinner in New York City. The preview, hosted in Canoe’s private dining room, The Paces Room, consists of five courses complete with wine pairings.
