Douglass employs her signature blend of color and character in an Alys Beach home for a client.

Intense pops of orange are the perfect complement to the bamboo-paneled walls in the combination kitchen/dining area in the Alys Beach home.

In her Peachtree Heights home, sunny yellow accents add pizazz to an otherwise neutral scheme in the living room. Since appearing in AH&L in 2009, Douglass’ home has gone on to be featured in the Brazilian, Russian and French editions of Elle Decoration.

Stainless steel appliances and white surfaces give Douglass’ kitchen a very clean, modern appearance. The basket-style hanging fixtures are quintessential South of Market.

Douglass designed the wine tasting room at the 2009 Christmas House. Her unique design style was the perfect match for transforming this dark, windowless space into chic and intimate gathering spot.
