November 20: Fox Bros. Bar-B-Q hosts fellow pitmasters, Griffin Bufkin and Harrison Sapp, of St. Simons Island’s Southern Soul Barbecue, for a Coastal South-inspired dinner. The evening begins with an outdoor meet-and-greet with libations and passed snacks. Cigars from Highland Cigar Co. will also be on hand. Next, guests will proceed to the dining room for a delicious feast that includes spare ribs, pulled pork and chicken, plus, a sweet finish with buttermilk pie with musacadine sauce. $55 per person. November 23: “Fabrics of Socialism” by artist Vesna Pavlovic concludes at Whitespace Gallery. The solo exhibition features photography and projection work based on Pavlovic’s research of black and white image archive found in the Museum of Yugoslav History in Belgrade.

November 23: The Beekman Boys are visiting Atlanta on the heels of the release of their newest cookbook, The Beekman 1802 Heirloom Dessert Cookbook. After stopping by the Morningside Farmers Market in the morning, they’ll be instructing a class from 1-3 p.m. at The Cook’s Warehouse in Ansley Mall. Learn to whip up heirloom desserts from their book such as pancake cake with maple frosting and cranberry-apple custard pie. To register for the class, click here.
