To Market, To Market
Two former Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Home for the Holidays Showhouses (2015 and 2016) have hit the market. The home at 1150 W. Garmon Road (Debra Johnston, Berkshire Hathaway, $10.5 million, right) was conceived by Harrison Design. “This home is equipped with private, calming spaces as well as grand spaces ideal for entertaining at a distance,” says interior designer Karen Ferguson of Harrison Design of the 15,500-square-foot, six-bedroom estate.Â
When new owners closed on 2490 Woodward Way ($3.3 million, above), renovated by Pak Heydt & Associates and Macallan Custom Homes, they got a winning combination of classic elements and open, airy spaces. “It’s a feel-good house,” says listing agent Amy French of Ansley Atlanta. “It’s classic Atlanta with a contemporary West Coast twist. It has lots of natural light, something that’s not just a perk but a necessity.” The five-bedroom home’s nearly 1-acre lot features lush gardenscapes by landscape architect Graham Pittman and a petite pool, which sealed the deal for the new buyers.Â
