Dining at Soho

I recently checked out Soho, an eclectic, bistro-style restaurant located in the heart of historic Vinings. Conveniently overlooking the Vinings Jubilee shopping center, Soho has the perfect combination of impeccable cuisine, views and service.

Rich woods, candelight tables and full views give Soho its intimate bistro feel while paintings by local artists (which rotate out monthly) and a bustling bar area add an eclectic and upbeat edge. Owner Frank Smith says the seats go quick, so snag one while you can!

Open since ’97, it’s no secret why customers keep coming back for more. Executive Chef Joe Ahn adds a cultural flair to every dish on the menu; from Asian-inspired calamari—a house favorite—to braised oxtail ravioli, Ahn’s creations are sure to please almost any palate.

The best part about Soho’s menu is that they print it every week to keep their dishes fresh and exciting. I went on a Wednesday for Soho’s “Flight Night”—a weekly event in which three wines are showcased and paired with three tapas. Each month the pairings take on a regional theme (this month is Italy).

The drink menu boasts a wide variety of creative cocktails, craft beers and a seemingly endless selection of wines. I opted for the espresso martini, which, paired with Soho’s Belgian waffle with toffee almond ice cream, was the perfect nightcap.
