Hospitality Home Run

When the Atlanta Braves take the field for opening day on April 9, there will be plenty of new spots at The Battery Atlanta for fans to explore. “We are optimistic and hopeful for the return of not only the baseball season but that a level of normalcy will be upon us shortly,” says Braves Development Company executive vice president of development Jeremy Strife. “Our continued success will be directly attributable to the heart and resilience of our tenant partners.” Even amid the pandemic upheaval, the mixed-use complex added seven new concepts in 2020 including Aloft Atlanta, PH’EAST, Good Game powered by Topgolf Swing Suite, River Street Sweets · Savannah’s Candy Kitchen, One Medical, Park Bench and Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams. Pizza giant Papa John’s moved its corporate headquarters from Kentucky late last year, joining “a new class of concepts currently under construction including Silverspot Cinema, ASW Distillery, Fat Tuesday and EATaliano, as well as our brand-new Class A office projects—Three Ballpark Center and Four Ballpark Center—which are in high demand and filling quickly,” Strife says.
