Frontgate Grand Opening

Frontgate debuted its new location in Phipps Plaza with an elegant evening complete with live music by OK Cello, gourmet bites, signature cocktails and a Champagne sabering. Attendees had the first opportunity to shop the 19,000-square-foot showroom, and the evening benefitted Dwell With Dignity.

An Expressive Evening

Museum of Design Atlanta (MODA)’s Text Me: How We Live in Language kicked off in September with an opening night party featuring light bites, word games, music by DJ Dookie Platters, fortune telling and a temporary tattoo booth. Guests had the chance to mingle with the artists and Debbie Millman, the show’s curator, while getting a first peek at the exhibition, on view through February 4.

A Night of Design

To celebrate this year’s spring showhouse, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles hosted the Southeastern Designer Showhouse & Gardens kick-off party. Participating designers gathered at Design Galleria Kitchen & Bath Studio to toast Honorary Chair Jackye Lanham and this year’s beneficiary, the Atlanta History Center.

Women of Style & Substance

In anticipation of the 2017 women of style & substance Fashion show—sponsored by Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles—Saks Fifth Avenue hosted a pre-show luncheon, where this year’s nominees were honored for their contributions to the Atlanta community. Fashion show proceeds will benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

Southern Style

In celebration of the second annual Southeastern Designer Showhouse & Gardens, Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles hosted a special opening night party, Moonlight & Magnolias. The evening kicked off with a toast to Honorary Chair Jackye Lanham and beneficiary the Atlanta History Center, and guests enjoyed an exclusive first look of the showhouse while mingling with designers and enjoying bites from Legendary Events.

Spotlight on Art

The largest art exhibition in the Southeast, Trinity School’s Spotlight on Art showcased works by more than 350 select artists in 6,000 square feet of gallery space. The six-day juried artist market included everything from contemporary and realist pieces to impressionist and folk works. Proceeds supported Trinity School.

Thomas O’Brien Booksigning

Mathews Furniture + Design teamed up with Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles to host Thomas O’Brien for cocktails, conversation and a signing of his latest book, American Modern. Attendees mingled and enjoyed light bites from Avenue Catering and an exclusive look at O’Brien’s collection for Century Furniture.
