February 1–May 17 | Join the Georgia Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts for the biennial exhibition series, Women to Watch. The series focuses on a specific medium or theme chosen by the museum’s curator. This year’s exhibition will be held at Atlanta Contemporary and led by Cynthia Nourse Thompson. GEORGIA WOMEN TO WATCH 2026: A BOOK ARTS REVOLUTION showcases five talented female artists redefining the traditional boundaries of the book as an artistic medium. ganmwa.org

February 6 | Take a day trip to the charming town of Madison, Georgia! Held at the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center, COLOR RESONANCE: GARY HUDSON IN FALL HUE is available for viewing through March 27. Hudson was an internationally acclaimed artist who died in Madison in 2009. Known as a lyrical abstractionist, he led a life as interesting and as compelling as his works. Hudson’s work is currently on display at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York, the San Diego Museum of Art, the Georgia Museum of Art in Athens and other notable institutions. mmcc-arts.org
