March 12–15 | Warmer weather calls for a spring getaway, and Charleston is the perfect weekend jaunt. Presented by Historic Charleston Foundation, the third annual CHARLESTON BY DESIGN is a four-day celebration of creativity, craftsmanship, and preservation. Attendees have a chance to experience Charleston’s living history through a contemporary lens led by industry greats. Anchored by the Foundation’s enduring mission to protect and sustain the best of Charleston, the weekend brings together leading voices from the worlds of interior design, architecture, and the decorative arts. “Waffle House”, 2025, by Kate Hooray Osmond

Through March 20 | Presented by SPALDING NIX, A Fine Line, a presentation of four shows by Kate Hooray Osmond, Nancy Talero, Shannon Davis and Laura Dargan. Charleston-based artist Kate Hooray Osmond’s Americana explores her evolving relationship with the shifting landscape of the United States through bold color and expressive paintings. Atlanta-based artist Nancy Talero’s Super Nature is a series of geometric modular paintings exploring the merging of boundaries of natural and supernatural worlds. Atlanta-based artist Shannon Davis’ Conversations in Motion is a series of photographic digital compositions exploring the formal aspects of design as malleable conversations.
