Editor at Large pays tribute to Veranda founder and editor Lisa Newsom, who will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art, Southeastern Chapter’s, Philip Trammell Shutze Awards this Saturday evening. >> We couldn’t resist hopping on the bandwagon … Jennifer Boles of The Peak of Chic explores the design goodness behind the buzzy new 50 Shades of Grey movie (don’t miss the de Gournay wallpaper!). >> Atlanta-based architecture firm Historical Concepts unveiled a freshly redesigned website earlier this month; we could spend hours browsing its gorgeous new content. (Side note: Register for AH&L Reader Day on March 18 to hear witness founder Jim Strickland’s design genius in person.)
