The Georgia Committee of The National Museum of Women in the Arts celebrated the opening of Georgia Women to Watch 2026: A Book Arts Revolution at Atlanta Contemporary

Held at Atlanta Contemporary on February 1st, the opening of Georgia Women to Watch 2026: A Book Arts Revolution was a celebration of the arts. A collaboration between Washington D.C.’s National Museum of Women in the Arts and the Georgia Committee of NMWA, the exhibition is led by curator Cynthia Nourse Thompson and features five innovative Georgia artists who are redefining what books can be. The featured artists included Eliza Bentz, Hannah Israel, Cynthia Lollis, Serena Perrone, and Eileen Wallace. On opening day and moderated by Cynthia Thompson, the five artists participated in an enlightening artist talk about their processes and the show.
