An annual highlight of the spring season, the Southeastern Designer Showhouse & Gardens, benefiting Camp Twin Lakes, returns with a roster of designers to make their mark on a house with a style all its own. Developed by Benecki Homes and located on Normandy Drive in Buckhead, the newly built house was designed by William T. Baker & Associates with interior specifications by SOURCE, who infused the home with an inspired compilation of styles, including Streamline Moderne with Art Deco and Art Nouveau influences.

In addition to its 10-foot-tall windows and cedar-shake roof, what might be most striking about the home’s stucco exterior is its restrained ornamentation, a design decision which carries through to the home’s interior, where millwork was likewise kept to a minimum. Another distinctive feature of the home’s interiors is the prevalence of soft, curving lines, exemplified by the home’s numerous coved and barrel-vaulted ceilings. The interior material palette features a less-is-more mix of finishes that are repeated throughout the house, such as French oak flooring, brass hardware, pearl white and gray Venetian plaster, and Calacatta Viola marble.
