Tiny Details Make a Big Difference for The Ansley School
La Petite Maison Luncheon showcases interior design talent for a purpose
The La Petite Mason Luncheon was held on November 19 at the Piedmont Driving Club, featuring nine exquisitely decorated dollhouses designed by John Plaster of Plaster Architecture with building support from Alair Homes and SCAD. The dollhouses—meticulously decorated by local Atlanta interior designers—were showcased and auctioned to raise more than $325,000 for the Ansley School, a tuition-free private school serving Atlanta’s homeless children. Co-chairs Caroline Weimar and Emily Carrere brought this first-of-its-kind fundraiser to Atlanta from its founding city, Houston, uniting the city’s interior design talent around a shared philanthropic purpose. The La Petite Maison Chairs and committee are deeply grateful to the Atlanta community for their generous support and to the designers whose months of dedication and attention to every tiny detail made this Atlanta inaugural event a big success.
