Collective Spirits Wine & Food Festival returns to Highlands, North Carolina next weekend! Indulge in three days of culinary bliss at this premier event that serves as The Bascom’s largest annual fundraiser. The Bascom, a non-profit visual arts center in Highlands, has put together a spectacular weekend of events:

Thursday, May 16: This exclusive kick-off day for benefactors features private dinners with notable chefs inside Highlands-Cashiers Plateau’s finest homes. The elegant meals, prepared by chefs such as Chris Hall of Atlanta and Sean Brock of Charleston, will be paired with unique wines. Click here to become a benefactor.

Friday, May 17: The day begins with two wine-themed symposiums at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on The Bascom campus. Click here to purchase symposium tickets.  Then, a benefactor-only private wine tasting at 4 p.m. in The Bascom’s Dave Drake Studio Barn will provide true wine connoisseurs an exclusive opportunity to taste and buy rare vintages. In the evening, the Stock Your Cellars Market will boast dozens of award-winning vintners offering tastings of an impressive and varied selection of wines for sale by the discounted case.
