Through January 4: “Garden Lights, Holiday Nights” transforms the Atlanta Botanical Garden into a glittering winter wonderland. Among the highlights of this annual event is the “Orchestral Orbs” show that features a unique topiary light show choregraphed to holiday music. Click here for tickets and more info.

December 14: Tinsel and Twine returns to Westside Provisions District. This year, the annual holiday market features free photos with Santa, holiday carolers and festive lights. Enjoy holiday treats from West Egg Cafe and Jeni’s Ice Creams, plus, a s’more station by JCT. Kitchen. The marketplace will feature handmade good by local artisans such as Olaria Studio, Emerald August and The Small Object.
December 14-15: The Grant Park Candlelight Tour of Homes invites ticket holders to tour 10 elegant homes in the historic community. Click here for tickets and more info.
December 14: Just in time for the gift-giving season, The Cook’s Warehouse in Decatur is hosting a Holiday Candy Making class that’ll give attendees the chance to whip up fudge, chocolate bark and caramels and even explore festive packaging ideas for homemade gifts. $65 per person. December 14: Peridot West welcomes Elaine Luxemburger and Betsy Crosby, authors of the newly released Images of America: Brookwood Hills, for a book signing from 1-3 p.m. The local authors will also host a discussion on Atlanta history and the evolution of Brookwood Hills, which was site of the Battle of Peachtree Creek in 1864.
