American and European Culinary Influences Fuse in East Cobb’s Luxe New Restaurant Opening

Atlanta Restaurateur Miguel Ayoub opens elevated dining concept R & C Kitchen in East Cobb

Miguel Ayuob, the brains behind Atlanta’s beloved Mojave Restaurant, had always dreamed of opening a new dining concept that fuses luxury and camaraderie. Ayoub made his dream a reality when he introduced R & C Kitchen to the Metro Area’s bustling food scene last fall.

“While dining in the restaurant and bar area, we want guests to have a luxurious experience in a warm and comfortable environment,” says Ayoub. “Our menu incorporates the finest and freshest seasonal ingredients from local vendors and farmers. We take pride in what we craft and serve—from the cocktails to the food.”

Executive chef Daniel Lee helped Ayoub and his wife, Rachel, curate an exclusive menu inspired by American cuisine with a European flair. From seafood-centric appetizers to delectable entrees and à la carte protein options (the Dry Aged Tomahawk 32-ounce steak being a fan favorite), guests are guaranteed to leave R & C Kitchen longing to return. To drink, opt for one of the restaurant’s sprightly beverages including the Abbey Road cocktail with St. George gin or The Queen’s Aperitif with Aperol. Close out your meal with a house-made dessert prepared by pastry chef Josh Hill.

A collaboration between Rachel Ayoub and Smith Hanes Studio, guests are instantly transported to an upscale, metropolitan locale when they step through the doors. The library, bar area, dining room, and even a private membership club camouflaged within the walls, are outfitted with new and old pieces as well as custom features. “We selected a jewel box of colors to incorporate in the spaces,” says Rachel. “Using the finest leathers, fabrics, and finishes, we crafted an elegant yet serene backdrop.” Think oak-paneled walls, Ralph Lauren wall sconces, several sitting areas, and a plaster wall mural hand-painted by Quenton Colby Studio.

While guests can still enjoy a more laid-back environment at Ayoub’s pub concept, Rose & Crown Tavern, located in the restaurant space directly above R & C Kitchen, it’s no secret that this new venture has set a new standard for fine dining.
