November 1-2 The Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces celebrates fall with the 7th annual Chastain Park Arts Festival, a two-day fine arts show featuring 200 local and regional artists. November 8 Learn how to deck your tables for the holidays with The Art of French Floral Design: Autumn at Le Jardin Francais. Led by the talented floral designers of Le Jardin Francais, students will learn seasonal availabilities, proper handling of floral product, uses of floral tools and uses of supplies. Instruction is available in both French and English, and afternoon tea and pastries will be served. November 8 The Atlanta Opera presents Puccini’s Madama Butterfly, a haunting story of honor, passion and sacrifice. Captivating audiences for centuries, the tragic tale of Madama Butterfly explores a young bride’s metamorphosis into a grown woman and the dismal choices she is faced with. Through Nov. 16. November 8-9 ADAC kicks off the holidays with {Craft Box Girls} Creative Studio, a two-day creative experience offering guests the chance to shop handcrafted goods from more than 50 merchants, attend workshops and gather inspiration from interior design showcases. November 14 Huff Harrington Fine Art hosts artist Lorraine Christie for a solo show through the end of November. The Irish still life painter is known internationally for the warm glow she brings to her oil paintings, and her works are included in many private and corporate collections around the world. November 14 Alan Avery Art Company presents an exhibition of paintings by internationally acclaimed artist Margaret Bowland, also a winner of the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery Award. November 15 Garden Lights, Holiday Nights is back for its fourth year, transforming the Atlanta Botanical Garden into a winter wonderland. November 15-16 Get ready for the holiday season with the fourth annual Elegant Elf Marketplace. This high-end gift market showcases more than 75 regional and local vendors featuring elegant creations in fashion, jewelry, home, garden, toys, gourmet treats and more.
