Full-Service Flair

When the luxurious Corso Atlanta makes its debut this summer, it will represent a new breed of senior living. Inspired by Parisian classical architecture, the gated property boasts 500,000 square feet of residential and common space, complete with manicured courtyards and winding paths. The development is drawing residents from Atlanta and beyond. “It [lets people] live in the community they’ve always lived in, but the services will come from behind the scenes,” says Tim Gary, CEO of Galerie Living, Corso’s parent company. There are 45 available floor plans and residents can adjust their level of service over time—from completely independent to assisted living up to memory care—based on their needs. Enviable amenities include a heated pool, full-service salon and spa, florist shop by Terry Furuta, concierge services and round-the-clock security. Chef Philippe Haddad serves as curator and culinary consultant with offerings including a fine dining restaurant, wine and cheese tasting room, teahouse, ice-cream shop, catering services and more. “This is completely different,” says Gary. “It will change your mind about what senior living really is.”
