Home for the Holidays Showhouse Opening Night Party

An evening filled with toasts and merriment, AH&L celebrated the debut of the 2024 Home for the Holidays Showhouse at the Moonlight & Mistletoe opening night party

The 2024 Home for the Holidays Showhouse, presented by Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles, made its debut on November 20, 2024, at the Moonlight & Mistletoe Preview Party. Set in Atlanta’s prestigious Tuxedo Park neighborhood, this year’s showhouse is the iconic 1930s home of golf legend Bobby Jones—widely believed to be the birthplace of Augusta National Golf Club and the Masters Tournament.

For one night only, the AH&L transformed the residence into the glamorous “Buckhead Country Club,” where guests wore their finest green-and-white attire, sipped custom Azalea cocktails, and took part in a unique chip-and-putt experience. A replica of the famous 12th hole at Augusta, created by The European Company, offered guests a taste of golf history while celebrating the legacy of the legendary course.

The newly renovated 7,500-square-foot home—which sits on two acres—underwent a comprehensive transformation thanks to builder Firelight Homes, Tish Mills Interiors, architectural designer Kirk Design, and landscape architect Floralis Design. The extensive renovation, which includes a spacious addition and reimagined floor plan, brings the home up to modern standards while preserving its historic charm. Notably, the residence was also once home to former Georgia Governor Carl Sanders.

More than 15 top interior designers lent their expertise to the project (including Honorary Chairs Nina Nash and Don Easterling of Mathews Design Group, Design Galleria Kitchen & Bath Studio, Robert Brown Interior Design, and Loren Taylor Interior Design), and over 300 guests attended the exclusive first look. Proceeds from the showhouse benefit the Atlanta History Center, an institution dedicated to preserving and sharing the region’s rich cultural heritage.

The showhouse is open Thursdays–Sundays through Dec. 15. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit atlantaholidayhome.com.
