Come Celebrate With Us at the 2014 Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Serenbe Designer Showhouse

The dog days of August are upon us, and before we know it, autumn will be in full swing. If you’re craving one last hurrah to close out summer and ring in fall, we welcome you to join us this September at our 2014 Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Serenbe Designer Showhouse.

Open for tours September 6-28, the event will feature 12 designers on three levels at 275 Swann Ridge. Nestled among preserved forests and nature trails—just 35 miles south of Atlanta in the scenic Chattahoochee Hills—Serenbe is an oasis of natural beauty. The community emphasizes sustainability and well-being through fresh food, fresh air and walkability. What’s more, proceeds from the event will benefit the Art Farm at Serenbe, whose mission is to cultivate a space where artists can live, work and create. Showhouse admission is $20, and tickets are available online.

To kick off the month’s worth of festivities, we’ve planned the Opening Night Preview Party on Friday, September 5, from 7-10 p.m. Join us for a tour of Serenbe’s newest addition and mingle with our 12 talented showhouse designers while sipping cocktails and munching on seasonal hors d’oeuvres crafted by Serenbe’s noted chefs. Tickets are $75, and proceeds from the affair will go to the Art Farm at Serenbe.

Before and after you visit the showhouse, you’ll want to explore the shops and activities the rest of Serenbe has to offer. Spend a Saturday afternoon taking a farm tour ($5) or enjoying a hayride ($5, Saturdays and Sundays). Or, bring your showhouse ticket to a wine tasting ad get in for $5, and don’t forget to savor the farm-to-table fare at one of Serenbe’s acclaimed restaurants, including The Farmhouse at Serenbe or Blue Eyed Daisy Bakeshop. Show your showhouse ticket and get in free to chef Chris Hastings’ book signing, or check out musical performances by artists including vocalist Sachal Vasandani and music group Granville Automatic. For the grand finale, we will have our Designer Showhouse Closing Party on September 27 from 6-9 p.m, which will begin with a final private tour of the Designer Showhouse and end across the street at Art farm, with live music, food trucks and a cash bar.
