Digging Chairish’s Instasale: Instagram Treasure Hunting with Chairish and Waiting on Martha

No one understands the thrill of the hunt more than Chairish, a website devoted to selling and buying curated vintage furniture, décor, jewelry, and more.

Now, thrifting fans can join the site’s hunters at the nation’s best flea and antique markets on their Instagram feed. Since 2014, Chairish hosts #instasales and auctions off the prized picks of the day to the first bidder to comment #sold, bringing the real-time market experience to users everywhere. AH&L hit the ground running with Chairish’s Jenn Ripley and Waiting On Martha blogger and tastemaker Mandy Kellogg Rye at Atlanta institution Scott Antique Market and curated a lovely loot of vintage and eclectic treasures that will be auctioned on @chairishco this Sunday at 12pm EST. Prices range between $40-$200 (including US shipping) and purchased using #paywithpenny (just follow the prompts after you comment #sold. It’s easy, we promise!)

While some people are overwhelmed by the rows and rows (and rows and rows) of antiques, collectables, and yes, even that macramé of Dolly Parton, Jenn and Mandy roamed through the countless booths with the sonar power of a submarine, honing in on the gold and bypassing the junk.

What are we digging? These cheeky brass pineapple toothpicks found by Mandy. But you’ll have to beat us to it on Sunday, because our fingers are ready to type #sold.
