Kitchen Envy
We’re currently working on our January issue—which includes the winners of our annual Kitchen of the Year contest—so kitchens are on our minds right now. From our November issue, on newsstands now, I’m particularly smitten with this kitchen. Most classic kitchens are usually white, so it’s refreshing to see one with painted cabinetry. The colors are soft, the mismatched antique stools are charming and the professional grade appliances are any gourmands dream. Check out the entire residence, which was originally designed in the 1930s by architect Philip Shutze and recently renovated by Pak Heydt & Associates and Tammy Connor Interior Design, in our November issue.
PS: You might recall Tammy Connor’s name from a previous residence that was published in the magazine a few years ago. If you missed it, here it is again. You can also see her work, first hand, at the upcoming Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Christmas House, which opens next week. She’s designing the gentleman’s study.
