June 5-6: “Design is Human Week” by Modern Atlanta officially kicks off at ADAC with the “Design is Material” trade show featuring interactive products and displays that showcase the latest advances in materials for contemporary design.
June 5: Brookwood Hills eatery Saltyard celebrates its first anniversary with special night from 7-111 p.m. For $35, guests will enjoy an open wine bar, passed small bites and the chance to win prizes from multiple giveaways.
June 5: Handmade wares by more than 20 potters and object makers are up for sale during Swan Coach House Gallery‘s annual “Summer Swan Invitational.” Look for ceramics by Keiko Coghlin, David Morgan and Masa Sasaki. Exhibit ends August 8.
June 7-8: The MA Architecture Tour grants ticket holders access to the city’s most thoughtfully designed residential and contemporary structures.June 7-8: The 31st annual Virginia-Highland Summerfest features an artist market, lively food and local eats. On Saturday morning, a 5K race will take place along historic Virginia Ave., between North Highland Avenue and Park Drive. Register here.
June 7-8: Flying Colors Butterfly Festival features the release of hundreds of butterflies, a butterfly encounter, crafts, live music and food trucks at the Chattahoochee Nature Center in Roswell.
