Stock & Trade Design Co. opened the doors of our first location in Birmingham, AL, in November 2012. With only 1,800 square feet, our company rapidly outgrew the original space and began actively seeking a new location after just a few months. One year from the date of the first store’s opening, we relocated the Birmingham store to its current Homewood location, opening the doors of a 22,000-square-foot gallery showroom in November 2013. From that time, our company’s executive team began the quest to take a single retail showroom and build a multi-store brand. In the seven years that followed, that brand has evolved into five retail gallery locations, the spin-off of a separate wholesale brand, and the establishment of an 180,000-square-foot distribution center that services both the retail and wholesale divisions, as well as serving as a distribution hub for several partner vendors.
Stock & Trade Design Co. offers a wide selection of custom upholstery, furniture, lighting, rugs, accessories and unique objects, as well as custom pieces from local artisans. We’re committed to providing beautiful and affordable home furnishings—pieces infused with clean lines, modern sensibility and classic style—making them a desirable part of your home decor for years to come. With our vast inventory of in-stock pieces and thousands of special order options, the design choices are almost limitless.
