If there’s one thing we learned during the pandemic, it was that our connection to nature was never more important, whether we took to walking, exercising or socializing outside to seek refuge. Andre’ Jordan Hilton, participating designer for the 2021 Serenbe Designer Showhouse, Coleman Mills of Harrison Design and residential designer for the 2021 Cloudland Station Showcottage and Christy Dillard Kratzer, lead interior and specifications designer for the 2021 Cloudland Station Showcottage, talk with Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Editor-in-Chief Suzanna Hamilton about the benefits of incorporating nature into the design of our homes and maximizing indoor-outdoor connections.

Julian Chichester, Suite 139

11 – 11:45 AM | Flower Power

Buds and blooms abound in this discussion about the use of flowers in fabrics, wallcoverings, china, and art. From spring blossoms to wispy hints of boughs, irrespective of the season, these designers discuss how to artfully incorporate flowers into their designs. Join Mallory Mathison, Margaret Kirkland, and Pebbles Nix as they discuss floral palettes and patterns with AAtlanta Homes & Lifestyles Editor-in-Chief Suzanna Hamilton.

1 – 1:45 PM | Two Views of Natural Wonders: Works on Paper

Dawn Trimble received her Master’s in Architecture from Auburn University but discovered that her passion is actually creating small abstract watercolors that reflect both the landscape and our current events. Heather Lancaster was raised in a highly artistic family, and today she creates large precise graphite, ink, and charcoal works on paper of animals and botanical elements. Join Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Editor in Chief Suzanna Hamilton in a discussion with both artists about how their different paths, perspectives, and methods document our natural world.
