Team Hidi is an annual event hosted by the Giving Kitchen to support food service workers

Team Hidi

Giving Kitchen's signature event where the fight for one life became the fight for many.

Team Hidi came about when Atlanta Chef Ryan Hidinger was diagnosed with late-stage cancer in December 2012. It was Ryan’s journey - the groundswell of support by his industry - that ignited the formation of Giving Kitchen. Hidi’s legacy lives through Giving Kitchen and our mission to provide stability to food service workers. Food and beverage tastings, auctions, musicians, and speeches make Team Hidi Giving Kitchen’s biggest and most-anticipated event every year.

Team Hidi 2024 was a Home Run!

Thank you to the 1,370 guests, 213 volunteers, and 98 food & beverage partners who made Team Hidi 2024 the biggest fundraiser in the history of Giving Kitchen.

We are excited to share that your contributions brought us to over $1,250,550 raised for food service workers in crisis!

On top of that incredible amount, we threw our biggest party ever at Truist Park — Home of the World Champion Atlanta Braves. Guests enjoyed 46,800 bites, 8,800 cocktails, and 2,016 beers from some of the best restaurants, bars and food service partners in Georgia.

It's not too late to make a donation to continue our work and make a lasting impact on the food service community! Thank you for being on Team Hidi!
