Gather ‘Round
Earlier this year, Atlanta establishment SAINTS + COUNCIL made its highly anticipated debut to Midtown’s trendy Colony Square
Saints + Council is the city’s latest go-to Friday-night destination to recharge, consume unique seasonal dishes and sip on charming refreshments.
“The inspiration for Saints + Council was to create an uplifting environment for friends to come together and spur each other onto greater heights,” says president and owner William Pitts, who is also the restaurateur behind Café Intermezzo. “It’s a place to receive the daily bread of camaraderie, craft cocktails and great food.”
The menu is constantly evolving with the seasons, keeping local ingredients as the foundation for every creation. “The culinary approach of our menus is simple: fresh, local, made from scratch and delicious,” says Saints + Council executive chef Jerry Walker.
The restaurant is also notorious for their extensive beverage menu and talented team of mixologists. “We are a scratch bar program, meaning we prepare all of our syrups and juices in house as well as our own cordials, shrubs, tinctures and more,” says beverage director Madison Tolman. “This allows us to infuse each ingredient with unique and complex flavor profiles that are exciting on their own or pair beautifully with our seasonal cuisine.”
A collaboration between architect Tom Tedrow of Tedrow Design Group and interior designer Courtney Goodrich, the cozy chic interiors feature various “living room pods” where guests can escape the bustling Atlanta streets to mingle with friends over tasty fare. Outside, a stylish dining area equipped with fire pits and comfortable seating is the perfect place for late-night summer soirees.
Says Pitts, “[The design] is a blend of two styles that really comes together—almost like a bougie Aspen ski lodge built within a city.”
